Initially, Hofstra Wagner approached SavvyRevenue to elevate their Google Ads advertising to the next level and to capitalize on its potential to boost both revenue and profit.

Strengthened Presence and New Markets
Over the course of the year, we collaborated with Hofstra Wagner through three periods (called Marathons) aimed at improving Google Ads in three key markets: Germany, Denmark, and Norway.
The efforts were mixed, focused on opening new countries and refining existing countries.
Scaling and Profitable Growth
Overview
Our first marathon focused on testing a new setup in a new market to explore scaling the business into new territories.
Meanwhile, the focus in the home market was to maintain growth and profitability by reallocating more spending towards bestsellers and adding new products—additionally, the search needed to be expanded based on the performance observed in shopping advertising.

- Performance Max (New): Testing Performance Max (shopping only) in Germany.
- Shopping (🇩🇰): Launch a dynamic campaign-split based on in-category bestseller data.
- Search (🇩🇰 🇩🇪): Expand Search Ads based on identified search terms from Shopping Ads.
- Dynamic Search Ads: Setting up DSA campaigns to ensure the harvest of new keywords and unlock new potential.
Insights from M1
Our efforts within Germany showed that the website required more CRO to scale successfully.
The Shopping Ads structure revealed insights that bestsellers were closely related to products on sale, resulting in possible new campaign segmentation. The new Search Ad campaigns were profitable and allowed more spend on top funnel keywords.

Expansion into Norway
Overview
The focus for our second marathon was to expand into Norway, expand our reach in Denmark, and get closer to profitability in Germany.

Our tests in Norway resulted in insights that enabled us to enter Q4 with a more targeted approach.
In Denmark, our Search Ads expansion resulted in higher reach, while we achieved better profitability in Germany (but didn’t reach a critical level) through our efforts.
